Python Job: Senior Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced and talented senior software engineer, experienced in Python (Django) & with a “DevOps” mindset to join our growing & close-knit team.

Job title: Senior / Lead Software Engineer

Location: Old Street / Shoreditch area, London. We operate a very flexible work from home policy though & have so far settled on a hybrid working pattern with some days in the office but most from home. We are flexible to you. Maybe mostly remote with 1 day a month for a London visit? Whatever works for you, is fine with us.

Salary: Up to £90K Basic + Benefits Package

Our ideal candidate for this role would have an expertise in:

• 
  Python (Django)
• Cloud Architecture (AWS in the main, some Google Cloud)
• Building RESTful web services or GraphQL
• Testing frameworks (e.g. Junit, Spock, Pytest)

It would be advantageous if you had knowledge of the below, but not required & will give you some examples of other technologies you will be exposed to.:

• 
  A second programming language: JavaScript/Typescript/NodeJS or Java (Spring)
• Message brokers (e.g. Active MQ, Kafka)
• Redis, Elasticsearch
• Big Data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
• DataDog / NewRelic
